Hermione Granger had suddenly left the world on January 1, 2021. Hermione was born on September 19, 1979 to two Muggle parents. She started attending Hogwarts the fall of 1991 and was sorted into Gryffindor. She is remembered for being one-third of the Golden Trio who saved the Wizarding World from Lord Voldemort. Following the end of the Second Wizarding War, Granger returned to Hogwarts to finish up her studies and later found employment within the Ministry of Magic. Hermione had swiftly moved up the ranks by being Deputy Head of the Department of Magical Law Enforcement and eventually Minister in accordance to Kingsley Shacklebolt's wishes following his sudden incapacitation.
Hermione eventually married the love of her life, Ronald Weasley, who were close since the fateful day they met in 1991. They had two beautiful children Rose Granger-Weasley, 14, and Hugo Granger-Weasley, 11.
Hermione is survived by her husband, Ronald Weasley, her two children Rose and Hugo, and her many in-laws and nieces and nephews.
She will be remembered for her passion for marginalized groups, willingness to help others, and her dedication to the wizarding community.
A public memorial service and candlelight vigil will be held during the Winter Festival in front of the Ice Maze.
